wild.lucifero Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Hello to everybody! I need help because I have some problems to configure/modify css files. :- Is it possible to get the old graphic style in the new version (os 2.3.4 standard)? Are there someone who already made this modify? This is the old style shopping_chart: This is the new version: There are many differences: the borders; the delete's a_href instead of the delete_button... and many others. And it is only in the shopping_chart... In my opinion it is bad and I don't like it. I prefer the old_style Are there somedy that could help me? Thanks Ciao!
burt Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 You can put the new shopping cart back to how it was. If you don't like things, change them. Give it a go, before asking how, but bear in mind that hardly anyone is now supporting the older versions of osCommerce, so you might find it hard to get someone to give really detailed help.

Hello Burt, I'm sorry because my english. I think you don't understand. Or I don't undestard rightly your reply. I would know, please, if there are someone that have adapted the web-design of the new osc 2.3.4 from the old 2.2 (and if it would share). Of course, if there are nobody, this means that I have to work (hard) to make the changes. Ask before to do, is better, in my opinion of course. I could save time. Thanks Ciao!
MrPhil Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 It is certainly possible to modify 2.3.4 (or 2.3.4BS) pages to look and feel more like classic 2.2 pages. It's mostly a matter of changing the CSS, and maybe a little PHP. You don't want to make major functional changes. I'm not sure why @@burt mentioned rolling back to 2.2, unless you confused him. Anyway, if you're not up to converting the code, post in the Commercial Services section for someone to give you a quote for the work. By the way, if you're just starting out with a new installation, you should use 2.3.4BS rather than 2.3.4. It's responsive, and far more up to date than 2.3.4.

Now, I have to understand how the BS version works and redo the mod. Really many thanks for your suggestion Ciao!
