Categories/Products in Admin give Error 500

Just installed V 2.3.4 Bootstrap (Edge Release)

 

Everything is working except for when I click on Categories/Products, it crashes and give a 500 error.

 

PHP Version: 5.2.17 (Zend: 2.2.0)

 

 Database: MySQL 5.5.34-MariaDB-cll-lve

 

 

Any ideas? Corrupt installation?  Thanks

PHP 5.2 is getting a bit long of tooth. If you can get up to a current version (5.4 or higher, preferably), that might help.

 

If this is just one page that's crashing, it might be corrupted. Did you edit it by any chance? Did you re-download it? Using your host's control panel editor, trim off any blank lines before the first <?php or after the last ?>. Check that it was downloaded correctly and all the lines are separate and it looks OK. Check that the permissions are like other .php pages (usually 644).

Update your PHP version to at least 5.3
