vasmediainc Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 Hi, I am trying to upload my new website template via FTP protocol and once I finish uploading the files and try to connect to the database I keep receiving an error stating... There was a problem importing the database. The following error had occured: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '---------------------------------------------------------- -- -- Table structur' at line 16 Please verify the connection parameters and try again. Might be a newbie question but what does this mean. Is there something wrong with code on my end or is there something I need to check on the server side to make sure the database was created correctly. If it helps godaddy was able to connect to the database and said they do not believe the problem is with the database but rather something on the site files end. Thanks for your help in this matter.
