Change Subcategorie img's to show all products for cat. instead ?

HI everyone,                      (using Osc 2.3.4.)

 

I have been looing for a way to change the way the products are shown.

 

I would like to REPLACE the SubCategory Link images with the actual products in that subcategory

The subcategorys should be devided by a -hr- tag and then continue with the next subcategory -hr- ... ectect 

 

???

 

example:  category DVD contains 9 movies - and two Subategories ACTION (4) and Comedy(7)

now OSC will show , after clicking DVD in the menubox:

 

 

CatTITLE DVD

 

#IMAGE ACTION Sub#  ,  #IMAGE COMEDY#

------------------------------------------- hr-------

DVD 1  - DVD 2 - DVD 3

DVD 4 - DVD 5 - DVD 6

DVD 7 - DVD 8 - DVD 9

 

products from action can only be seeen after clicking IMAGE ACTION.

 

 

I would like:

 

Title Subcategory Action

prod.action 1 || prod.action 2 || Prod.action 3 || Prod.action 4 ||

---Hr-----------------------------------------------------

 

Title Subcategory Comedy

prod.comedy 1 || prod.comedy 2 || Prod.comedy 3 || Prod.comedy 4 ||

no title (Title MAINcategory DVD)

prod.DVD 1 || prod.DVD 2 || Prod.DVD 3 || Prod.DVD 4 ||

prod.DVD 9 ||

 

So i would like to show all products but organised by category (group by i.e. model - added sortorder number???)

 

I have tried just about every ADDON i could find that uses the word Subcategorie  or product list!!!!

I have reinstalled fresh copies and tried oiut the addons for dayssssssssssss now and its driving me nuts.

 

But NONE do just that ...  they all just ADD or remove the Subcategory ImageLink. 

 

So Anyone ? Please help. 

If you have a good idea  or workaround I AM ALL EARS..!

Workaround:

 

Why have Action and Comedy sub-categories? Why not just put them in DVD in the order that you want. If you need Action and Comedy mentioned, consider putting the "sub-category names" in the product image. All that is doable without code modifications.
