Bootstrap Oscommerce - Removing extra space in boxes

Hi guys,

              On the login page (see attached file) and all throughout the checkout process, there's a fair bit of blank space in the top of boxes. It's not so much about not liking the look but in checkout, it actually pushes some contents (like the confirm order button) below the first fold of the page and is likely to cause customer confusion. Is there a way to remove this extra space so the page will be improved?

I would look in the CSS for "padding" or maybe "margin" entries that are too large for your tastes, and override them in a user.css file.

In a browser like firefox or chrome, right click on the stuff that you want to change and choose 'inspect' (or similar)

 

That should take you into a developer view with access to the css so you can see the settings and try out changes

 

When you're happy with them you can put your modifications to the rules into user.css
