osCommerce runs on a regular web server, and customers use any browser to interact with it. The community-supported osC 2.3.4BS (Bootstrap) is the responsive version, and someday soon will become the official version. It gives good mobile device support.

There are no plans to develop an "app" to run a store locally on a mobile device. osC uses a browser to talk to the central store server. If that is not satisfactory, please explain in detail what you are looking for. Can you give any examples of stores that actually run as an "app"?

you need an api developed to talk to oscommerce, different app solutions have implemented their own, this is one in the contribution section

they use some kind of subscription system and often have limits on number of products supported.

There are others too, but I can't recall the names exactly.

KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON

I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support).

So if you are still here ? What are you waiting for ?!

Find the most frequent unique errors to fix:

grep "PHP" php_error_log.txt | sed "s/^.* PHP/PHP/g" |grep "line" |sort | uniq -c | sort -r > counterrors.txt

Hey! You can use shops2apps.com service. They convert a store to a native  iOS, Android, Kindle, WIndows app. The service also includes listing on the App store, Google Play and Amazon and regular updates. Free tester plan is available.
