Danishwebshop Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Hi, I have installed oscommerce latest version, after installing its website navigation working fine but admin panel showing blank when i try to login, I tried many times buy i failed to open admil tool and website is running fine, kindly help in providing resolution.
MrPhil Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 What is "latest version"? 2.3.4, 2.3.4-Bootstrap, or something else? Is this a "one button install" from your host, or did you obtain the installation package from this site? Are you using a template or any other material not provided by osC? What PHP version are you running on? Do you get any error messages when you try to bring up the admin pages? Often a completely blank page indicates a PHP syntax error. This can mean a severe mismatch in osC version and PHP version, or more often, that a PHP file was corrupted. There should always be an error message logged somewhere (such as an "error_log" file). Did you manually edit any osC files? Check them to see if you cut off a file in the middle, or something. If osC successfully completed installation, did you change the permissions on the two configure.php files (to Read-Only)? Did you change "admin" to something else, and update the configure.php file to reflect that? Do you have password protection on the admin side? Does it work? If not, try removing password protection and see if that's the culprit. If it is, try using your hosting control panel's "password protect a directory" instead.
