403: Forbidden error

Have uploaded everything to the website, changed the permissions for the two configure files but when I go to the website it just keeps giving me a 403: Forbidden error instead of running the installation.

Any help would be appreciated.

Create a .txt file with just text in it, like "hello" and upload that to your root directory. Then try to access it with http:// your domain name/filename.txt. If you get a 403 for that, you are blocked from the server for some reason and need to ask your host to look into it.

Shouldn't permissions on the configure.php files be changed after installation is run? I seem to recall running into problems if I changed their permissions too early. All files should be (typically) 644, including configure.php, and directories (typically) 755. Your host may use somewhat different "typical" directory and file permissions.
