Payment Modules

Does anyone have experience or advice using Payeezy as a payment module?  If so will it work with osCommerce v2.2RC1?  Or does it need a later version?

My customer does not want to continue with PayPal and is looking to use Payeezy.

Thanks for the heads-up for this problem.

Hi Don,

I believe Payeezy is the newest gateway presented from FirstData. We had their older software installed on our older 2.2 version oscommrece site and functioning for a long while, but the 2.2 software is very out of date and we upgraded to the new 2.3.4 BS version. Needless to say we tried to find a way and consulted around, but could not get the new Payeezy gateway to integrate into the newer Osc version, so dropped it and went full PayPal Pro so we could take credit cards direct on our site which is working fine for us.

I would advise your client to be aware that the older 2.2 oscommerce will start to give more and more issues as the internet changes and upgrades are done especially by he host company like php versions and such, so perhaps look into upgrading the site.

I wish I had better news for you, but this internet thingy is ever changing and can be a quite the bugger to keep up with.

Thanks for your reply; it is appreciated!

I'm beginning to think that Payeezy is not a good solution for an osCommerce payment module.

Is there anyone out there that has successfully used it with 2.3.4?

My customer has some customers who will not use our current PayPal method of payment due to some bad experiences. So now what payment module do y'all suggest?

Thanks for the help!

I've used Authorize.net for my gateway since 2002 and it's worked great with rare exception.  I switched to Chase Paymentech for my merchant account, which works with Authorize.net.  They have great interchange plus pricing and it includes my gateway fees.  I'd hightly recomend both.

There are a lot of sleezy payment systems out there.  I dealt with one (Ipayment) when I started and they were horrible with charges and price gouging.  I beleive they are connected to first data.

I'm not really a dog.

Don,

We are in the same situation.  I have managed to get oSc 2.2 RC2a to communicate with the payeezy gateway on the outbound side only.  It takes my money and all that seems to work fine.  Its on the return where I can't seem to "absorb" any of the data payeezy is sending me back and it won't make the order complete or anything else associated.  I am aware that it has been made work with the latest version of oSc but nobody has made it work with oSc 2.2.  I'm close but I think upgrading my oSc site to the latest may be the only option.  Not something I wanted to due because of mods made to my current version.

Not much encouragement here but I can't get the return data to link up.

I see that some are using Authorize.net. Will this plugin work with Chase Paymentech Orbital?

I also see that there is a plugin for the Chase Paymentech. But I dont see any post about it being compatible with OSC2.3.4. Any suggestions guys?
