PawelKobak Posted October 12, 2015 Share Posted October 12, 2015 Customer login problem....Please help Due to server upgrade I had to 'reinstall' my 'store' As an 'admin' I can login and do anything "admin' can do. Customer can browse products, ad to cart but when he tries to login 1 of 2 things happen 1. when he comes from home page (index.php) to 'login.php' and clicks on "login" he goes back to 'home page' 2. when he comes from "shopping_cart.php" to 'login.php' and clicks on "login" he is in the loop of login.php My OSC is 2.2rc2a upgraded PHP from 5.2.6 to 5.3.3 My SQL from 5.0.45 to 5.1.73 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
allaboutwicker Posted October 13, 2015 Share Posted October 13, 2015 Hi PawelKobak, I hate to have to say this, but that is a Very old version of oscommerce you are using and you are going to have to make a new site setup with the newer code 2.3.4 or even better 2.3.4 Bootstrap version. That old version is not going to run on the newer servers and such any much longer. I do not know how many modifications / addons you have on your old site, but you can set up a new store with the new 2.3.4 version and upgrade your database info to get it to the the 2.3.4 level so that it will all work and you do not lose any of your product or customer info or anything from your database. tgely Posted October 30, 2015 Share Posted October 30, 2015 Basic 2.2rc2a is not PHP5.3 compatible so you have to upgrade the shop first. Secondly you have to give security patches.. Finaly use latest version either. osCommerce based shop owner with minimal design and focused on background works. When the less is more.Email managment with tracking pixel, package managment for shipping, stock management, warehouse managment with bar code reader, parcel shops management on 3000 pickup points without local store.
