Mort-lemur
Just decided to tweet a few of my products - and noticed that they no longer appeared with price and availability, upon delving into twitter I came across the following: On July 3, Product Cards will be deprecated and map to Summary Cards. All required fields of the product card directly map to the Summary Card. Label and Data properties will be ignored. So it looks like the old style card is no more :( Now running on a fully modded, Mobile Friendly 2.3.4 Store with the Excellent MTS installed - See my profile for the mods installed ..... So much thanks for all the help given along the way by forum members.
♥altoid
I see that now. Thanks for mentioning. My blog is in WP and I note the add ons I found that for Twitter don't use product cards there, only summary, so maybe this is why. I am not a professional webmaster or PHP coder by background or training but I will try to help as best I can. I remember what it was like when I first started with osC. It can be overwhelming. However, I strongly recommend considering hiring a professional for extensive site modifications, site cleaning, etc. There are several good pros here on osCommerce. Look around, you'll figure out who they are.

Many Thanks I did the update and get the summary link. Clicking that I get the card, with a small product image, the product title and then about three lines of product info. Mort-lemur
@@altoid Thanks for confirming Steve, Like you the summary when opened is a small image with several lines of text next to it. I have the settings set to summary_large_image When I run a URL through the card validator it displays correctly ie a Large image with text below, yet if I tweet that URL twitter shows the small image with text beside - most odd.... burt
Twitter Cards [summary, summary_large_image] no longer require (what used to be WEEKS & MONTHS) validation. They are immediately useable. If you are not using Twitter Cards, you should be. It's free advertising.
