mvittone
I'm all for security - so I understand why the system times out for inactivity. However, if we are modifying a product and allow the system to timeout, it doesn't just not save the change, it deletes all content (except the images) and we have to start over. Anyone have any insights? Thanks, Mario

Jack_mcs
@@mvittone When you say it deletes the content, are you saying the product gets deleted? If so, then something seems to be wrong with your code since that shouldn't happen. If you mean that none of the changes you made for that product gets saved, you can't stop that from happening. However, you can change the code to lengthen the timeout. Making it last too long might be a security problem but if you increase it enough you shouldn't have this problem. I think there is an addon for this but, if not, there are many posts on it. Just search the forum through google for admin timeout, or something similar. tgely
Hi all, known problem on some apache server when mysql session handling used. Use file based sessions instead. osCommerce based shop owner with minimal design and focused on background works. When the less is more.Email managment with tracking pixel, package managment for shipping, stock management, warehouse managment with bar code reader, parcel shops management on 3000 pickup points without local store.
