Bernetta
Really need help guys! I haven't logged in for a while and now everything is saying Deprecated: Function ereg() is deprecated in /home/content/11/12542511/html/admin/file_manager.php on line 29 Also, people are trying to make payments through PayPal and keep getting an error message. What do I need to do? I don't have access to web designer who built the site, but I am a quick learner, please help!
Roaddoctor
more details needed - what version of osc are you running? If I recall, file_manager.php was a giant secuirity risk, should be removed, and is not used in current versions. Your error is saying the ereg needs to fixed- but don't bother, just remove that file or rename to something. For paypal, update to new and latest PayPal AP. Best would be to update your site to 2.3.4 or 2.3.4 BS @@Bernetta -Dave
MrPhil
If your store is still using ereg() calls, and file_manager.php, it must be somewhere back in the Dark Ages (osC 2.2). Upgrade immediately to osC 2.3.4 (new code installation, transferring your database and other data). Work on copies of your data and database, in a separate test directory, until you've got the upgrade process down cold.
