pete2007 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Hello, I was using a company to make my website mobile friendly but they have messed up my live website template, which they agreed would not happen as we made a test site. After a few days of extremely poor customer service and not getting anymore to look at the live website, I've requested a refund and changed the password to cpanel. I have all the files backed up on my PC but I do not want to do a full backup as so much has changed since, my question is there a way to manually upload several files which will fix the template so it goes back to normal? What files in oscommerce are used for the template structure? Thank you in advance.
Hotclutch Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 What do you mean? If you want to go back to your old store, all you have to do is restore your backup - fileset and database, your host can you assist you with that. If you mean something intermediate between your old store and what the developer gave you, then that is something you need to request support from the developer you used. If the template is so bad, why do you still want to use it?
Gauravs Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Is your test site still working as you desire? If yes, you can simply port the code from test site to your live site. Else as previous post says, you can go back to basic version by restoring files from your backup. Best Regards,Gaurav
