apmuskel
Have a OSC 2.3.4 shop up and running. Just kicked it up live for payment but having problems I am using "Payson" payment module which is a Swedish version of paypal, you could say. I have followed all there instructions very precisely and tried reinstall of modul and dubbel checked all settings. The problem is as follows: - customer add things to cart - go to checkout and clicks "confirm order" in the checkout - customer is redirected to payson payment site and fills out the creditcard info (so far so good) - click comfirm at external payment site and gets redirected back to my shop the landing page the customer gets to at my shop is checkout_confirmation.php and an error that "terms & conditions needs to be checked to continue" But the money IS beeing withdrawn from the customers credit card, and you do get an email from payson that the transaction was OK. The big problem is that the customer does not get an order email from the shop(receipt) or a "thank you for shopping page" I cant see any order in admin and dont get any order email to my mail so I cant really see any orders taking place.. unless I logon to payson and see that money has been added to my account HUGE problem for me. Payson is a trustworthy company with many customers running there module on OSC shops. I have asked payson for help but they does not seem to be able to help me... Really need help! link to shop if that helps: http://pryljakt.nu/ edit: I failed to mention that I have migrated the shop from a diffrent server/domain/database but as far as I can see that whent well with no problems. Shop is running as it should. Payment module have been installed AFTER migration
Jack_mcs
What you describe is a known problem with some of the paypal modules. Try installing the paypal app, addon which doesn't seem to have that problem. apmuskel
What you describe is a known problem with some of the paypal modules. Try installing the paypal app, addon which doesn't seem to have that problem. I am using payson not paypal.. payson is a swedish company providing a similar service as paypal Payson only have one module which they have developed themselves. But something is obviously wrong, dont know if it is there module or my site thou (but there is many OSC shop running on this module) Maybe I just have to try paypal insted.. kinda sucks. I have contracts and all with payson atm. Could it be a problem with the terms & conditions add-on that renders my problem? I get the feeling payson is trying to redirect my customers to the thank you page but get stuck in they way becouse of the T&C addon? If so, what would be the work around? Jack_mcs
I apologize for not noticing the module you specified. I saw it but still read it as paypal. I looked at that module and see it hasn't been updated since 2009. That doesn't mean it won't work but it may need some changes in order to do so. Although if this module is based on the old paypal module it may be suffering from the problem I mentioned. Unfortunately, since no one is supporting it, you may have a difficult time getting it to work without paying someone to do so. With that said, there was (is) a problem with one of the must agree to terms addons that caused something like this. As I recall, the confirmation check box had to be moved to payment page so that when the customer returned, it didn't need to be checked again. But there are a couple of addons for adding that to a site and yours may even use code not in an addon, so I can't suggest where to look here in the forums for a solution. But if your must agree addon has an on/off setting, try turning it off and placing an order. If it works, then that is the problem. apmuskel
thanks for your input. I dont think I have a off switch for the addon unfortunately so there will be some work to test with that addon off. Good thing is that tech support replyed to me with some progress on my ticket at payson. They say that there newest version of the addon have problem handeling IPN calls and return calls. They ask me to install a later version of the module..will try that. actually they have frequent updates to the modules..lates was in 2015-02-22 I belive But I guess they only post these on ther own site and github
Jack_mcs
You may want to ask them to upload to the addons section here. Someone may be considering that addon and if they use the outdated one and it failed, they may give up on it. So it would be to that companies advantage to upload a new version here. apmuskel
Your 100% right..dont know why they dont do that . More user = more money to them = more/better updates to module
apmuskel
So I have downgraded my payment module fron 1.85 to 1.7 as they asked me to over at payson. Now when I place an order I get redirected back to my site with this showing up: http://pokie.se/error.jpg Money is still beeing withdrawn from my creditcard but something is not right when I get redirected back to the site No order emails is sent out and you get the error in the above link Any ideas? Jack_mcs
It seems that would have to be coming from the modules code. You could search through it to see if you can find that text and then the cause for it, though it could be a result from payson. Asking them about it may be the best course at this point or having someone troubleshoot the module.
