ce7
Hi, I found quite a lot of company provide the website builder, even wordperss has lots of plugin for the front-end page editor. Can someone here please give a hint or tell where to learn about how to integrate the other plugin (PHP for WP / HTML5 & CSS3) with osCommerce. Thanks in advance. MrPhil
This forum is for the support of osCommerce, not for Wordpress. If your question is about a Wordpress site with the osCommerce plug-in, that plug-in is not supported here (look on the WP site). If you are trying to find something to support a general-purpose PHP page editor, that really doesn't belong here either. If you have an osCommerce site and wish to modify it without dirtying your hands with PHP and CSS file editing, search here for "Themeroller", which is probably about the closest you'll come to WYSIWYG editing in osCommerce. Hi MrPhil, Thank you for your suggestions. I have themeroller installed, it change some theme but it doesn't support much for the front-end page editing. There are lots of in-line editors can be found online, and that all available for WordPress/HTML5, I was hoping something like that is for osCommerce as I spend more then a year to build my osCommerce site. I read some artical mentioned that osC v3.0 has template modual that can do thing like page editor, just installed, only see blank in the admin page, need time to practice and find out more details. Really hoping the new version of the osC can have front-page editing modual enable, which will definately make osCommerce much more easier accesible for shop owners. I am interested in keeping osCommerce, but have the wordpress widget/plugin of in-line page editor to create new front-page to be used for osCommerce. And I really need it be easy so that the osCommerce shop owner who has no much knowledge of using PC, can also easy to just click buttons and put pages together themselves. I think you understand what I mean. I might PM you for further knowledge about the integration between osCommerce and other plugin systems. Thanks! clustersolutions
@@ce7, yes, please feel free to PM me. I have my own OSC stores for over 10 years now as well as I am a developer. So I get both side of the aisle. Bear in mind that you don't have to run the OSC-WP theme and still be able to use WP's plugins in OSC...
