Recently performed a Stamps.com upgrade and in my ignorance activated the htaccess/htpswrd added security in OSC. Although I have removed those from the directory, OSC is still acting like it is installed. In other words as an admin I do not have to additionally enter my credentials but the radio button in the admin screen says it is active and it is apparently not allowing Stamps to read our batch shipping information. I have found nothing on how to inactivate the htaccess security. Any help would be fantastic. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bob Terveuren Posted July 24, 2015 Share Posted July 24, 2015 Hi - go to your /admin/ folder - if you are not using the htaccess/htpasswd combo then remove or rename the htaccess/htpasswd files. Then place a 'dummy' file (e.g. stuff.txt) into the folder and then try opening it in a browser: http://www.yoursite.com/admin/stuff.txt If you can open it then stamps should be able to 'see' your shipping files Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
