Roaddoctor
PayPal AP Where can I change the text that appears to the customer if a transaction fails for whatever reason? Error messages are generically vague and need to give the customer some sense of how to fix the issue (i.e. Your billing address must match credit card statement, or contact support etc....) Thank you Dave Quote -Dave
gjpinzino
Don't know if you still need this info. You can find the error messages in the catalog/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/ directory and in catalog/images/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/ directory. Look for files beginning with paypal and choose the ones that fit your situation. Other languages should have similar files in their respective languages directories. Chadduck
Has ANYONE written code for the identification of Payflo pro error messages to provide a little more in depth message for the customer? In other words (and for example) the payflo manager at paypal shows error code 23 if the Billing address does not match the credit card statement. I am a novice coder but would tend to believe an IF statement for the error code followed by a more detailed error message would be the only requirement BUT I do not know WHERE it would appear (or go) within the modules coding.
