Photoshop + FontAwesome

Maybe this is an old one but i didn't know it until today. You can actually use FontAwesome Icons inside Photoshop.

 

To be able to do that download the latest FontAwesome (right now ver. 4.3.0) and copy&paste the FontAwesome.otf file to your Windows Fonts folder.

(I don't know about Mac but I guess the theory is the same just add that file to the folder where all the fonts are.)

 

Then open Photoshop and use the Text typing tool and select FontAwesome as font. Then go to this cheatsheet and select and copy the icon (i mean literally select the icon itself not the code or fa fa- thing!)

Then back to Photoshop click with the text tool on the background and paste (ctrl+v). That's it.
