dspeak Posted June 23, 2015 Share Posted June 23, 2015 I version 2.3.3 installed. Using paypal websites payment standard. Just had an order come through that was not saved. Payment was made to paypal. Item sale was saved in database. Sale was not saved under customers name in database. Did not received confirmation email on sale. I am also using the same paypal account for another store that is version 2.2 rc2, (yes, I will upgrade soon) could this have anything to do with it? Thank you in advance. MrPhil Posted June 23, 2015 Share Posted June 23, 2015 Possibly the customer failed to follow instructions and return from PayPal to your store? That can lose the last step on the store side. osC may have fixed that (made it harder to fail to return) in 2.3.3.4 or 2.3.4, but I'm not sure. Robbogeordie Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 This happens on half my orders.I even changed my PayPal settings to automatically redirect back to my website after completing the order,but half the customers must close the browser before being redirected back to the site as no order emails are generated,stock deducted etc.Does this happen to other site owners using PayPal Standard, or am I doing something wrong?
