Mikepo Posted June 22, 2015 Share Posted June 22, 2015 Hi, A few months ago I took the decision to go with bootstrap GOLD. It works well! Thanks for all those developers and users ! Reading posts suggest, because GOLD was locked down during the timeline development, it must now be out of date, even though my shop is running ok. So how do I go about updating from GOLD to EDGE without redoing all the ADDONs from scratch. Is that Possible? Does GITHUB show all the changes from GOLD? If not, would it be advisable to upgrade to EDGE, as perhaps it offers more secuity ? (Note I've not noticed any issues with secuity with GOLD) A lot of questions I know, but can anyone advise? Or you can apply all of them if you got the time for it. GOLD was release on 8. January so all changes after that are EDGE. Acces burts github here https://github.com/gburton/Responsive-osCommerceand click on "commits" top-left and should should be able to browse through all the changes made. clustersolutions Posted June 22, 2015 Share Posted June 22, 2015 You may also want to just hang tight as they are also making progress with 2.4 beta 1...things are really dynamic and I am in the same boat...I guess it is all depending on the amount of work you have to take it to edge...
