element3 Posted June 18, 2015 Share Posted June 18, 2015 I recently upgraded to version 2.3.4 and only added one mod to allow sorting of production option values in the drop down menu. I have a client that puts on events by date. In the older version of oscommerce I was able to remove a date as an option value from the drop down when the date was fully booked. The current installation has a delete button, but it will not allow me to delete any value. It just says:"This option has products and values linked to it - it is not safe to delete it." Does anyone know how the heck I can remove an "option value?" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
♥ecartz Posted July 1, 2015 Share Posted July 1, 2015 Have you removed the attribute yet? The attribute is what links an option value to a particular product. It's the attribute that makes the value show in the dropdown. The error is suggesting that you remove all the attributes before removing the option value. Always back up before making changes.
