We currently use the magnetic one POS but finding it abit basic. we looked at epos now which do some nice systems but no OSC configeration. I know the rest fairly well but not the POS as I had never the need for a POS. Lots of features too. At £150+£50(for for web Sync) it good value. BrockleyJohn Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 I've worked with a couple, of which Easify is the better - lots of bells & whistles and much better than trying to do stock control on a spreadsheet. Basic per seat licence quite cheap but web integration pricier. Out-of-box osC integration wouldn't support an existing store and was too simplistic to be reliable on virgin broadband so I wrote a whole set of middleware to support migration and queueing online orders to pass back when a connection is available. I'm not sure about having to choose which set up of updates to overwrite when you haven't had a connection... seems too easy to foul up, but maybe you're less error-prone! Once connected, you can upload all prices and quantities from the EPOS to the oscommerce database, the epos and oscommerce databases are synced as you operate the epos.
