4girlsandaguy Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Hello all, I have looked for this but can't find out how to do this. Most of my orders come from Companies. I would like to add Company to my order summery without have to go to each order individually. As it is right now, it pulls up the customers, order total, date purchased,status. Is there a way to add "company" to this summery? Thank you in advance for any help. Running 2.3.4 Jason aka 4girlsandaguy
BrockleyJohn Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Hi Jason, it's not something you can configure but it's just a few small code changes to the admin orders page... I can explain them here or package it up in a little addon if you like. Contact me for work on updating existing stores - whether to Phoenix or the new osC when it's released. Looking for a payment or shipping module? Maybe I've already done it. 4girlsandaguy Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 John, thank you for the reply. Either is fine. Thank you again!
BrockleyJohn Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 First take a copy of your original catalog/admin/orders.php file in case everything goes horribly wrong, so you can put it back Find this code at line 322 which is the headers for your table: <tr class="dataTableHeadingRow"> <td class="dataTableHeadingContent"><?php echo TABLE_HEADING_CUSTOMERS; ?></td> <td class="dataTableHeadingContent" align="right"><?php echo TABLE_HEADING_ORDER_TOTAL; ?></td> <td class="dataTableHeadingContent" align="center"><?php echo TABLE_HEADING_DATE_PURCHASED; ?></td> <td class="dataTableHeadingContent" align="right"><?php echo TABLE_HEADING_STATUS; ?></td> <td class="dataTableHeadingContent" align="right"><?php echo TABLE_HEADING_ACTION; ?> </td> </tr> Now, if you were to use language files properly, you would put your actual column heading in the same file that all the others are in, namely catalog/admin/includes/languages/english/orders.php (for english, etc). However, if you're only ever going to use a single language in the admin side of your store, you can get away with putting the new heading straight into this file we're editing, to save changing two: <tr class="dataTableHeadingRow"> <td class="dataTableHeadingContent"><?php echo TABLE_HEADING_CUSTOMERS; ?></td> <td class="dataTableHeadingContent" align="right">Companies</td> <td class="dataTableHeadingContent" align="right"><?php echo TABLE_HEADING_ORDER_TOTAL; ?></td> <td class="dataTableHeadingContent" align="center"><?php echo TABLE_HEADING_DATE_PURCHASED; ?></td> <td class="dataTableHeadingContent" align="right"><?php echo TABLE_HEADING_STATUS; ?></td> <td class="dataTableHeadingContent" align="right"><?php echo TABLE_HEADING_ACTION; ?> </td> </tr> Then just below is this code that pulls the list of orders from the database: if (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['cID'])) { $cID = tep_db_prepare_input($HTTP_GET_VARS['cID']); $orders_query_raw = "select o.orders_id, o.customers_name, o.customers_id, o.payment_method, o.date_purchased, o.last_modified, o.currency, o.currency_value, s.orders_status_name, ot.text as order_total from " . TABLE_ORDERS . " o left join " . TABLE_ORDERS_TOTAL . " ot on (o.orders_id = ot.orders_id), " . TABLE_ORDERS_STATUS . " s where o.customers_id = '" . (int)$cID . "' and o.orders_status = s.orders_status_id and s.language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "' and ot.class = 'ot_total' order by orders_id DESC"; } elseif (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['status']) && is_numeric($HTTP_GET_VARS['status']) && ($HTTP_GET_VARS['status'] > 0)) { $status = tep_db_prepare_input($HTTP_GET_VARS['status']); $orders_query_raw = "select o.orders_id, o.customers_name, o.payment_method, o.date_purchased, o.last_modified, o.currency, o.currency_value, s.orders_status_name, ot.text as order_total from " . TABLE_ORDERS . " o left join " . TABLE_ORDERS_TOTAL . " ot on (o.orders_id = ot.orders_id), " . TABLE_ORDERS_STATUS . " s where o.orders_status = s.orders_status_id and s.language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "' and s.orders_status_id = '" . (int)$status . "' and ot.class = 'ot_total' order by o.orders_id DESC"; } else { $orders_query_raw = "select o.orders_id, o.customers_name, o.payment_method, o.date_purchased, o.last_modified, o.currency, o.currency_value, s.orders_status_name, ot.text as order_total from " . TABLE_ORDERS . " o left join " . TABLE_ORDERS_TOTAL . " ot on (o.orders_id = ot.orders_id), " . TABLE_ORDERS_STATUS . " s where o.orders_status = s.orders_status_id and s.language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "' and ot.class = 'ot_total' order by o.orders_id DESC"; } it needs o.customers_company adding into each of the three queries so that it looks like this: if (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['cID'])) { $cID = tep_db_prepare_input($HTTP_GET_VARS['cID']); $orders_query_raw = "select o.orders_id, o.customers_name, o.customers_company, o.customers_id, o.payment_method, o.date_purchased, o.last_modified, o.currency, o.currency_value, s.orders_status_name, ot.text as order_total from " . TABLE_ORDERS . " o left join " . TABLE_ORDERS_TOTAL . " ot on (o.orders_id = ot.orders_id), " . TABLE_ORDERS_STATUS . " s where o.customers_id = '" . (int)$cID . "' and o.orders_status = s.orders_status_id and s.language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "' and ot.class = 'ot_total' order by orders_id DESC"; } elseif (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['status']) && is_numeric($HTTP_GET_VARS['status']) && ($HTTP_GET_VARS['status'] > 0)) { $status = tep_db_prepare_input($HTTP_GET_VARS['status']); $orders_query_raw = "select o.orders_id, o.customers_name, o.customers_company, o.payment_method, o.date_purchased, o.last_modified, o.currency, o.currency_value, s.orders_status_name, ot.text as order_total from " . TABLE_ORDERS . " o left join " . TABLE_ORDERS_TOTAL . " ot on (o.orders_id = ot.orders_id), " . TABLE_ORDERS_STATUS . " s where o.orders_status = s.orders_status_id and s.language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "' and s.orders_status_id = '" . (int)$status . "' and ot.class = 'ot_total' order by o.orders_id DESC"; } else { $orders_query_raw = "select o.orders_id, o.customers_name, o.customers_company, o.payment_method, o.date_purchased, o.last_modified, o.currency, o.currency_value, s.orders_status_name, ot.text as order_total from " . TABLE_ORDERS . " o left join " . TABLE_ORDERS_TOTAL . " ot on (o.orders_id = ot.orders_id), " . TABLE_ORDERS_STATUS . " s where o.orders_status = s.orders_status_id and s.language_id = '" . (int)$languages_id . "' and ot.class = 'ot_total' order by o.orders_id DESC"; } and finally, you need to add the company to the fields that get displayed in the table a few lines further down. Change <td class="dataTableContent"><?php echo '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_ORDERS, tep_get_all_get_params(array('oID', 'action')) . 'oID=' . $orders['orders_id'] . '&action=edit') . '">' . tep_image(DIR_WS_ICONS . 'preview.gif', ICON_PREVIEW) . '</a> ' . $orders['customers_name']; ?></td> <td class="dataTableContent" align="right"><?php echo strip_tags($orders['order_total']); ?></td> <td class="dataTableContent" align="center"><?php echo tep_datetime_short($orders['date_purchased']); ?></td> <td class="dataTableContent" align="right"><?php echo $orders['orders_status_name']; ?></td> to <td class="dataTableContent"><?php echo '<a href="' . tep_href_link(FILENAME_ORDERS, tep_get_all_get_params(array('oID', 'action')) . 'oID=' . $orders['orders_id'] . '&action=edit') . '">' . tep_image(DIR_WS_ICONS . 'preview.gif', ICON_PREVIEW) . '</a> ' . $orders['customers_name']; ?></td> <td class="dataTableContent"><?php echo $orders['customers_company']; //showCO line added ?></td> <td class="dataTableContent" align="right"><?php echo strip_tags($orders['order_total']); ?></td> <td class="dataTableContent" align="center"><?php echo tep_datetime_short($orders['date_purchased']); ?></td> <td class="dataTableContent" align="right"><?php echo $orders['orders_status_name']; ?></td> Good luck! 4girlsandaguy Posted March 19, 2015 Author Posted March 19, 2015 Worked like a charge. Thank you so much!!
BrockleyJohn Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Glad to help. Just be aware that if catalog/admin/orders.php is changed by a future release, you'll need to reapply your changes to the new file. If there's a match between the original lines here and those in the new file, it should be safe enough to plug in the same changes.
