Admin page is emty after upgrading to 2.3.3.4

Hello!

I have upgraded my site from 2.3.1 to 2.3.3.4. I have added some changes for self  in the version 2.3.1 so I have compared the ny files from 2.3.3.4 and added my changes.

 

The catalog part is working fine.

But the Admin page does not work. Internet Explorer says: "There is something wrong with the page".

 

I have been reading a lot of threads here on this forum. My understanding is that there is a loop of redirect. I tried to modify the application_top.php in admin/includes.

I added the line

 

  $current_page = 'login.php';

 

After that the login page shows.

Then I enter my username and password and click on the login button. Nothing happends.

 

What ´can I do to solve the redirect loop?

can I ask you why dont you just upgrade to 2.3.4? and than move your database to new store? Of course keep existing store till complete.

Set the right cookies path in admin/includes/configure.php

My host updated my php today.

And broke my website.

 

They wasn't very helpful at all.

And just said I should Contact Oscommerce for the solution.

 

Anyhow, I have managed to fix my site.

I was getting the blank page on attempting to login as a customer and to the admin panel.

 

Firstly backup everything.

Then do as these instructions say.

It worked for mine.

I can now login and get my orders sent out.

Problem solved.

I just installed all admin filés and then added My private changes. I have for example developed

New reports.
