Cat Posted April 9, 2003 Share Posted April 9, 2003 Hi I recently had a friend contact me and ask if I could hook up a site done with osCommerce to PayPal and a Canada Post Shipping module - I said "I don't know, what's osCommerce?" Ok so I visited the site and from what I can see it's a full back end, database and templated front end - more or less. Am I right? If so is it as much of breeze as it would appear to be to hook up these two functions? I'm an programmer but not long out of school -as far as web programming goes I was taught the microsoft related scripts and db systems plus Javascript - I'm sure I can navigate my way around PHP, know the C++ basics, but I don't know it well enough to write it. The canadapost module can be downloaded at: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,391 The paypal module is integrated into the OScommerce cart admin, just turn it on.
