This isn't finished or perfected but for an idea of how to integrate osc with ANY cms system using the RSS contribution look here - http://cool-nets.com/naturemomshops

The databases are not linked BUT if you go to the store and log in, add stuff to your cart, then go to the Community link or the Forums link in the store header, log into the phpNuke section, do stuff, then go back to the store through the store link in the nuke header and click on cart it keeps your store session and your cart contents.

Us the rss contribution to create the store boxes in the CMS, no matter what cms you use, and use html links to the parts of the cms that you want for the store, the forums, the news, or whatever.

The only thing left that I can see that is needed, that I haven't tried yet is to bring the cms boxes into osc.

Keeping session info stable is half the battle. Now we just need to combine the databases so we only have to log in once. :)

Anyone try this on POSTNUKE or other NuKE clones?

It would also be real nice to corrdinate that themes of the CMS with that of OSC.

The great thing about beating your head against the wall is that it feels SO GOOD when you stop!
