When i went in to first enable paypal the option was tehre, so i click on it but the little editing area to the right just said Paypal and had no editing options.

the next day i went back to try again and they were there.

I installed a few new payment options.

paypal IPN

Paymate and

Aus bank deposit.

All of them show up in the list of available options in admin but when i click on them to dit their properties and enable them, i dont get any options just their headings.

any ideas what i should do or why this may be.

Is it perhaps my crappy server?

here's what I did when I had this problem.

1. Disabled paypal module in admin/modules/payment

2. Closed all browser windows

3. Deleted the paypal.php from catalog/includes/modules/payment

4. Opened Admin to make sure paypal option is totally gone.

5. Closed browser.

6. Uploaded paypal.php (unchanged, from the original download)

7. Reopened admin, reactivated paypal module ->Got the Edit button

That's it. It took care of the problem for me.

fixed it.

Fished through about 80 posts and found a lead.

Activate the module using the red and green buttons and bingo the edit button came up.

Might be worth a short FAQ to let ppl know they need to first activate them in tis way.
