Please enable Javascript in your browser to continue setup.

Familiar error message seen by others but cannot find any conclusive reason why this is occurring.

Can I just hand edit the configure.php files to get around this panel?

WinXP SP3/Firefox with requisite plug-ins enabled.

One would think that to be the obvious solution, but I've confirmed javascript to be enabled on three different machines with different browsers and

receive the same result.

Yes, what version of osCommerce are you trying to install? The current one, which is what you should be using, is 2.3.4. Since you're trying to run with a very recent level of PHP (5.6), it's possible that something in osC will need to be updated. As @@quetevendo mentioned, you might need a jquery library update or something.

Has anyone else successfully installed on PHP 5.6? Jim, is this a shared server, or if not, is there any chance of rolling back to PHP 5.5?

It's v2.3.4 on a 5.6.5 Gentoo build.

I flushed the whole install, restarted from scratch, and it installed without incident. I have no idea what caused the hicup.

Logged in to the admin side to look around. It rocks! Thanks for all the quick responses to help. I'm sure I'll be back in

other topics as I learn the ropes.
