davidstummer
hi, can any one tell me how to configure my site so that when people type in www.no-1-plates.com, they go straight to www.no-1-plates.com/shop. at the moment when you type the former, it goes to a screen with the folder options. thankyou, david stummer
GaryPigott
Create a file called index.php in the top level directory containing: <?header ("Location: http://www.no-1-plates.com/shop/default.php"); ?> "Verbogeny is one of the pleasurettes of a creatific thinkerizer." - Peter da Silva

GaryPigott
Dropping in a one line file is easier than re-installing an entire site IMHO. Perhaps if you're rolling out a new site the other way is easier, but not in this case. rseigel
Lots of search engines (Google in particular) aren't going to like your way. I, for one, am not willing to take the chance of being dropped by Google. Besides, OSC takes all of 5 minutes to install once you've done it a few times.
