Price incorrect?

I just got this cart up and running, added one product, checked the cart and price was fine. I then deleted the categories and products that were already installed. Now the cart is showing the item being $31.50 instead of $30.00 as is listed in the admin. I have gone through all settings I can think of, changed the product and still coming up incorrectly. Sorry if this question has been asked before, searched the message board for a half hour and came up empty.

Any help would be great. Otherwise so far the cart is very nice and easy to set up.

Hi, thank you for the quick responce. Where would I find this setting? I must have missed it but didn't see it when I was going through the admin settings now.

I must be blind, gone through every setting at least 5 times. Went through all of the settings under the top level of configuration even more and still don't see this. It must be what you are saying though because the products are off by the amount of tax.

I believe it's the newest version. I honestly do not know as it came with my net hosting package, autoinstall option. Any way to check that you know of? I've used scripts before, shopping carts, etc. Feeling like an idiot right now that I can't find this :(

Thanks for the help again.

its not your fault - there are so many hosting companies installing this and offering it to their customers and providing no support......

keeps things hoping here

if its not in the My Store configuration screen, then it sounds like you have a pre-MS1 version and you may need to go into catalog/includes/application_top.php and look for the Show Taxes statement and set it to false

yes, you have an old version - pre-MS1 release - you may want to think about just wiping out what they have installed and installing the MS1 release......

I was actually thinking of doing that right before you responded...I would basically just need to wipe out that directory and reinstall correct?

For a free script the support sure doesn't appear to be, better than any paid script I've ever bought.

Thank you again,

Travis

yes, i would delete all the files they installed, download the MS1 version, and do the install for it - you can drop all the tables in the existing mysql db they created and repopulate it with the new installation
