Guest
Hi, I know this must be a really dumb question but after 7hrs on this damn computer I am going to risk it.....I have installed OSCommerce properly on a friends site but how in the whole wide freakin world do I change that text that says: "What's New Here? Welcome Guest! Would you like to log yourself in? Or would you prefer to create an account? blah blah" to a differient message on the first page.... When I look in index.php I see only php code and not those words....what to do? PLEASE help...I am sure that the answer must be simple but I'm just brain-dead now.... Cheers and thanks in advance. -Ryan.

wizardsandwars
We'll keep that in mind. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit. If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help. Aceicol
The main thing to remember when it comes to text on certain pages is that they have there own page in the includes/languages/english/ directory. So for example your shop address is http://www.yourdomain.co.uk/default.php then go to your copy of includes/languages/english/default.php and you will find what you need to change in there.
