Kohn Posted April 2, 2003 Share Posted April 2, 2003 Hi Everything, Here's a problem that's been bugging me for a long time. Our website (www.audiocubes.com) is running on Oscommerce 1.71 (or something similar) installed from last March. We have the PayPal and Verisign modules installed and ever since the mods are installed, we experienced receiving payments, with notification emails from PayPal or VeriSign, but not the orders. Basically the payments are in, but Oscommerce did not record it. I think it has something to do with the customers not transferred back into our website (payment are processed at third party). We specifically ask our customers to push all buttoms so that they can be transferred back to our website to complete the order, but some customers complained that even when they do, they are still not transferred back. It's such pain in the butt because we always have to ask our customers to resubmit an order using the Money Order payment option and use the order recorded (Money Order runs fine without a problem). I know that the Oscommerce is very different now but we've modified our website since last April and we aren't sure if it's the right time to upgrade, especially when we aren't sure if all the database information will be kept.
