redandyellowman Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I am helping build an os commerce site and the shop need to keep a database for stock in the shop and for the online shop. What is the best way to do this? Is the any way I can integrate the two? Is it best for them to update the website database when they sell something in the shop?
♥bruyndoncx Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 i have a fully integrated system using opensource software (osfinancials / aka turbocash outside of BE/NL) but if you just want to keep stock numbers upto date i seem to remember @@burt having done exactly done that not too long ago for a customer of his KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support). So if you are still here ? What are you waiting for ?! Find the most frequent unique errors to fix: grep "PHP" php_error_log.txt | sed "s/^.* PHP/PHP/g" |grep "line" |sort | uniq -c | sort -r > counterrors.txt
burt Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Indeed. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/topic/395559-need-advice-considering-company-store-with-oscommerce/#entry1688024 gives a basic description of what was achieved.
