bandmans Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I have been trying to remove my left column from my template, as I don't have any need for it, however I can only seem to get it to disappear on the index page and the product_info page. On the product_listing page, the left column still shows up (even though I have removed all boxes from it). It just shows up as a blank white space. However, I am wanting my content to widen out and cover the area where that white space is for 2 reasons. 1) I would like all of the items to be centered on the page, and 2) I would like more space to work with for my product listing. I even tried installing the Dynamic Template contribution and this still will not allow me to fix my problem. Can someone please tell me how to make this work? I have researched and played with template_top, template_bottom, osc_template, the stylesheets, index, etc. Nothing is working for me. Please help. You can see what I am talking about if you go to my site: http://www.bandmans.com/newsite Thanks.
Guest Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 @@bandmans In versions above 2.3.x you control column contents from the Admin area under Modules>> Boxes. No need to edit the code at all. Chris
bandmans Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 Chris, Thanks for the response. The thing is I have turned off all of the boxes in the admin because I don't want the left column, but now I just have a while space where the left column would be on the product listing page, but I would actually like my products to start on the far left and then stretch all the way across the page. I just want my center column to take up the entire width.
