Mort-lemur Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Have now installed cookieGuard and it works well. However, I dont really like its appearance - it looks a litte dated, and the buttons are not moved along the bar if you alter the text. The layout is all contained in the file jqueryCookieGuard.1.0.min.js which is obviously a javascript file. Has anybody modified this file to move the buttons about and make the bar more elegant (eg change colour etc) I have absolutely no idea where to start with .js files. Mort-lemur Posted February 2, 2014 Author Posted February 2, 2014 @@wHiTeHaT Had a look at cookie consent and it looks great. However, it is served from their own website, which is not a problem I suppose and I dont really get the following instruction: Some 3rd party scripts will need a slight tweak so that they don't get run when they're not supposed to. For any level dependant <script type="text/javascript"> tag you'll need to: change it's type to text/plain instead of text/javascript add a cookieconsent-level attribute to it, who's value is the id of the level it's dependant on Let's say you've got a level with id 'tracking' and you had a script that should run only when the tracking level is enabled. Instead of having <script type="text/javascript"> ... you would change it to ... <script type="text/plain" cookieconsent-level="tracking"> Now running on a fully modded, Mobile Friendly 2.3.4 Store with the Excellent MTS installed - See my profile for the mods installed .....
