Hi,

I'm upgrading from V2.3.3.1 to v2.3.3.2. I am working my way though th instructions. Pretty sure have't made any errors, but having checked my site will still load at each stage an its been fine. I have got as far as changing the file below (database.php) and now my site will not load and shows this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ')' in /home/bramaker/public_html/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 14

Is this normal? should i expect hat until I finish the update my site will go off-line or should I be looking back to see if I have made an error.

This is a bit of a nightmare. I have super slow internet and still have two more full update to do after this one

help!

Running a botched up version of  osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.4 bootstrap with the dresscode theme installed, numerous add-ons, terrible coding, terrible website, but will have to make do until I have made up for my losses and can risk shutting down for a couple of weeks while I start all over again. - I did not install my program but am endeavouring to fix it with your help.

Hi,

I found the problem - I was cutting and pasting from the pdf file. the code pasted

DB_DATAB

ASE

with a line/space when it shoud have been DB_DATABASE

Hence the problem.

However, if anyone knows if during updates a website functions incorrectly an you let me know?
