♥Tsimi Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 is there any news feed add-on that has multilingual support and is osC 2.3.3.4 compatible? Quote
♥bruyndoncx Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 please expand, what do you mean by 'news feed' ? Quote KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support). So if you are still here ? What are you waiting for ?! Find the most frequent unique errors to fix: grep "PHP" php_error_log.txt | sed "s/^.* PHP/PHP/g" |grep "line" |sort | uniq -c | sort -r > counterrors.txt
♥Tsimi Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 (edited) hi carine sorry, my explanation was poorly written. a box or text area above the the "New Products for..." or just below the breadcrumb that shows the latest news written by myself. are you familiar with the add-on "Latest News"? http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/8231 that add-on does actually what i want but it is not multilingual. if you view the shop in english the news should show in english, if you view the shop in german then the news should be in german. do you know any add-on that does that and is compatible with 2.3.3.4? ♥bruyndoncx Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 article manager can do that and much more, not sure about 2.3.3.4 compatibility, try it, and post problems if you find any ... It is rather extensive and properly maintained contribution so it should work with 2.3.3.4 without too many hassles Quote KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support). ♥Tsimi Posted January 19, 2014 Author Posted January 19, 2014 hi carine i installed that add-on before reading following quote; My version requires Header Tags SEO to be installed. If you are not using it and don't want to install it, you can't use my version of this addon, at least, without many edits. i use burts SEO Header Tags - Reloaded. i looked for older versions, not from jack, but they date back to 2007/2008 and need a lot tweaking and adjustments to run with osC 2.3.3.x Quote
♥bruyndoncx Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 if you add the necessary database fields for header tags, you can upload the contribution and see if it fits your needs. and decide then to make the necessary changes or not for header tags reloaded Quote KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON I do not use the responsive bootstrap version since i coded my responsive version earlier, but i have bought every 28d of code package to support burts effort and keep this forum alive (albeit more like on life support).
