ce7 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Hi, I had tried to make a rental site, and need to have booking system that allow me to select certain time slot/period of certain date. Spent lots of time t try to find a module, installed Terminverwaltung/Time Management (http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/8068) but somehow it doesn't work properly. Had wrote post to ask help to fix it but has no respond so far yet. Before I can get any respond from Time Management, I found a booking system script from codecanyon which is really nice. It said it is designed f word press plugin though. I'm not php expert, just a self-learning at home mum spent a year to make oscommerce finally running. Not sure if it is possible to use that script with oscommerce. It will be so helpful if any expert here can give me some advises. Thanks! Lyn
♥ecartz Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 It would be a lot of work to modify a WordPress plugin to work with osCommerce. It will almost certainly be easier to fix the osCommerce module. Either would likely require some amount of development. Assuming that the osCommerce module works under some circumstance, it's likely that the WordPress plugin would require more development. Always back up before making changes.
♥GLWalker Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 SOmewhere out there there is a booking system developed by - i think its SnowTech? - Its pretty old, but did work - it would also need recoded now but may be a starting option if it can be found. Follow the community build: BS3 to osCommerce Responsive from the Get Go! Check out the new construction: Admin Gone to Total BS!
ce7 Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 For people who also want the rental system like me, FYI, at the end I use some online web booking app, such as Appointy. However it has to pay monthly fee for the usage, but you can find something else similar free online as well. I also have Google calendar apply together with. So far it works ok for me, saw few booking calendar for Wordpress, but still looking forward to have an add-on special for osCommerce, BR, Lyn
burt Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 still looking forward to have an add-on special for osCommerce Unless you code something up (or have it coded) it's not going to happen. Things don't just get coded ... someone like you who needs something gets it made, then contributes it back to the community...
