Guest Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Hi All, This is my problem. When a customer has finished the checkout process, the shopowner receives an email. On top of the email we have the FROM field, and that should show the email address from the customer placed in the order. In my case that FROM field shows my shop email address what means that both the FROM and the TO addresses are the same Where can i find the code to fix that problem or is it a configuration problem? Greeetz from overseas, Mon
burt Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 This is not a problem. Customer makes order, he gets email from your shop (you) to him/her. The "extra order" email is not from your customer. It is from your shop (you) to you. You need to think about this more deeply.
Guest Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I think we have a misunderstanding. I agree that the customer receives a confirmation from the shop with email address from the shop. On the other hand the shop receive an order from the customer so i would say that his email address should be in the from field. Now i have to open the order table to check the customer and find his email address to get in touch with him.
