Willow101 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Hi i was wondering is it possible to set it up so when a client buy's a audio file it sends a email to the client containing the full path of where the client can download it from? or even make it a page that saying what they have brought and can download it from that page?
burt Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 This is standard in osCommerce, you use the download function and add the download as an attribute. admin > configuration > download > {enable download} > true then catalog > product attributes > {set up an option eg: version} > {set up an attribute eg: download} > {attach the option and the attribute to the product along with the download file name} then upload the file into /download/
Willow101 Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 Ahh ty very much for the quick response, will this email the client with the details then or store it on a page for them to view?

♥14steve14 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 It wont email a direct link to the customer, but when the item is paid for, and the customer returns to your site, there will be a download link on that page. That link will also be available from the customers order history page. REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
