Database Not updating orders table

I am having a problem when processing orders in that no orders are written to the database. I use secure trading payment pages. All the data is passed correctly for payment and cookies all seem to be working. I have also checked my server logs and there are no errors.

At what point in the process does OSC write the order details to the DB?

I have compared my checkout_process.php against the latest version and they match with the exception of my discount module.

This all worked before updating to latest version.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Does this "Secure Trading" take the customer to their site to make the payment, and then come back to yours? If so, it's likely that it's returning to the wrong place in your site (a very common problem with PayPal). Triple check your configuration.

@@MrPhil Yes this is what happens with the payment pages. When returning to my site the client is shown the checkout success message. I will have another look at the configuration and will post back if this rectifies the problem.

I have checked all of the files and config at my end as well as at the payment gateway and all seem correct.

However when processing a COD order database updates with no problem.

I think this must be an issue with the Secure Trading payment pages. i have attached a zip file with the relevant files .
