Lost connection to the shopping cart..

Hi i have a website www.handcarved-furniture.co.uk which has been operating for over 2 years...

 

I have noticed today that the shopping cart connection has been broken.

 

e.g when you click on BUY... The page goes to a page saying " Your shopping cart is empty..

 

Nothing is going into the cart..

 

 

What could have happend??

 

Customers are not able to buy as the product is not going into the cart..

 

Can anyone help here as to where i should start my investigations or even advise as to what seems to have gone wrong and how to fix it..

 

I would much appreciate some help on this..

Sounds like your hosting provider has updated the server PHP version. This would cause such issues with older carts. Verify what version of PHP and SQL your server is currently using.

PHP Version is PHP 5.3.27 (cli)

 

and

 

Server version: 5.1.70-cll MySQL Community Server (GPL)

 

If this has affected the cart, how can i rectify..

would appreciate some help

Is this osCommerce or is it "osc max". If "osc max" best advice is to go to the oscmax forum

 

The usual advice for shopowners running very old versions (whether oscommerce or oscmax), is to upgrade to the latest version.
