how to update form 2.1 to 2.2CVS

The only way is to use a combination of CVS, Beyond Compare and a MySQL diff utility.

Have you tried the upgrade feature in the web installer on 2.2?

I have 2.1 online , so if I upload 2.2 , I overwrite my 2.1 yes !?

 

were in my 2.1 is the web installer ?

 

Don't I have to upload 2.2 before I can see the web installer ?

The web installer is in 2.2, and you souldn't overwrite your current directory or your current filestructure or files. Create a new filestructure, and a new database.

 

You can also backup your filestructure and database before you try.

 

It's never easy, though. I find it much easier to just start from scratch.
