bksbeat Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 I was working in admin and then got this error. Never seen this before and never got it before. It now appears when I try and load my website as well, i.e. www.nontando.com Anyone have any idea how to resolve this. Thanks, Gary 1226 - User 'nontando' has exceeded the 'max_questions' resource (current value: 75000) select value from sessions where sesskey = 'd26e43a1839bf71a3cd0802aec58642b' and expiry > '1385910706'
PupStar Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 unless you run your own server (which I guess you dont) then there is nothing you can do bar asking your host to increase the max_questions which I doubt they will as it looks pretty high already. Although I could be wrong as its been a very long time since I had this message.
bksbeat Posted December 1, 2013 Author Posted December 1, 2013 Thanks Mark - So how did I resolve this as noone can access my site and I cannot get into admin?
bksbeat Posted December 1, 2013 Author Posted December 1, 2013 Okay - it seems to be up again. Wow, no idea how and why this happened. All I was doing was adding a new product to my site?
PupStar Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 you could ask your host to up your limit or you could start optimising your queries to reduce the load. do you have a lot of users on the site at any one time or bots? It could be if you have a lot of bots being served up lots of pages at once which has caused the error.
bksbeat Posted December 1, 2013 Author Posted December 1, 2013 Thanks Mark. More likely bots related error than lots of users. Will do some research. Thanks again for your help, Gary
