HTML Editor for 2.3.3.4 - Your Views

Hi All,

 

Got to the stage on my development 2.3.3.4 store where Im going to add the admin HTML editor feature, but cant decide which one to use.

 

What are your experiences with the ones available for 2.3.x ?

Coffecup software has a free html editor. We use that and copy/paste into the admin page.

Hi Heather,

 

The easiest install ever is the ckeditor using the instructions from

so you could give it a go and if not satisfied easily remove and move on to another

@@knifeman Thanks tim, but Im trying to avoid cutting and pasting as much as I can

 

@@joli1811 Thanks John, installed in 2 mins, then spent 20 mins finding out how to make the editor apply to certain text fields only - now works a treat.

 

Mods remaining to do to functionality = 5 - I think I'll tackle EPDQ next..........

Hi Heather,

 

Yes important not to use on the define language fields as they will break not sure which text fields you excluded

but would be nice if you have time to upload the changes to the thread to prevent more inexperienced users breaking something
