Create account page preloading username in fax number field

Hi all. I am a osc newbie. In addition to the cart, I have installed CKEditor - full package and the Modular Front Page osc addon. I have also manually added a few new information pages. I just checked my site and found that, when I go to the create an account page, the 'fax number' field automatically contains my username.

 

Any thoughts on why this is happening and what I can do to correct it?

 

I only just set my 'force cookies' to true. Is this the culprit?
