Banetilbehør Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Hi. In my webshop (Oscommerce 2.2Rc2a) I have problem sending emails. I have a costumer who contacted me about missing emails from me, regarding to his orders. The customer earlier made about 10 orders in the webshop, and every time he got the confirmation email from the webshop (order recieved and order shipped), but on the last two orders this emails didnt appear. Also I tried to send him some emails from the admin-area, they also didnt arrive at his email. I tried to make several orders for myself, and every time I got the confirmation-email. Can anybody help me? Johnni, Denmark
MrPhil Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 If your customer had a sudden surge of emails from your site, due to their many orders, it's possible that their host's mail system is now marking email from you as spam. Tell them (if you can get through) to look in their junk/spam/bulk email folder, or for any evidence that the email is being handled as spam. Fixing it might be as easy as putting your (sending) email address in their address book, to "whitelist" your site.
