buckadmin Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Hi, I'm looking for some recommendations of where to go/who to go to for general help with our website. We have a list of things that need to be fixed and/or changed around and don't know how to go about handling them. Are there people or websites specifically available for help with this? And if so, any recommendations for people/websites you've had success with would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Jack_mcs Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 It's against forum rules to make recommendation but there is a support section here where you can post a request or a number of the members that post here do such work so you could contact them. I don't suggest using one of the pay for coding web sites though. While I'm sure those programmers are talented, many do not understand oscommerce and they end up making a mess of the code. burt Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Here's 6 developers who have the courage to ask for public words about their products and services: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/forum/99-developer-feedback/ Any one of those 6 would be fine to use. Avoid other developers until they have their own thread within that forum. In this way you can ensure that if something goes great or if something goes wrong, you can let other potential clients know. As well, in case none of those 6 float your boat, you can ask for paid help: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/forum/79-commercial-support-enquiries/ If -any- developer contacts you offering any type of service, and you did not specifically ask for that contact, please report it. @@buckadmin
