HELP - After updating to v2.3.3 clients not receiving receipt notifications!

Hopefully someone can help here (especially after I'm now posting it in the right forum, D'oh). I recently updated our site from v2.3.1 to v2.3.3 but have ran into a major glitch. The orders.php page isn't sending the e-mail confirmations from the "Update" button when sent. Can anyone here help out because I'm lost. Thanks very much, any help is really appreciated...
